NOTICE ON HOW TO VOTE FROM ABROAD – PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS

We would like to inform you that the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, has made a decision to call Parliamentary elections to be held on 26th April 2020.


The Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government (MPALSG) has issued a Notice for voters residing abroad on the exercise of the right to vote in the Parliamentary elections. The notice can be downloaded from the following link:

Applicants can check, through the MPALSG public portal https://upit.birackispisak.gov.rs/,  if they are enrolled in the Single Electoral Roll (SER).

A person who is a national of the Republic of Serbia and has a registered place of residence in the Republic of Serbia but is not registered in the SER, must first apply for enrollment in the SER. After the decision of the competent authority on enrollment in the SER is passed, the application for voting from abroad may be received or processed.

On Thursday, 5th March 2020, the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in London will begin receiving applications for voting from abroad.

A copy of a valid biometric identity card of the Republic of Serbia or a copy of a valid biometric passport of the Republic of Serbia shall be enclosed with the prescribed form.

Nationals of the Republic of Serbia eligible to vote shall submit their application for voting from abroad through the diplomatic mission or consular post no later than five days before the day of the conclusion of the Single Electoral Roll, or by midnight on 4 th April 2020 (local time in the Republic of Serbia).
