Forum "OSSA: Facilitating links and cooperation between students, Alumni, successful professionals and the diaspora for personal and home country development", was held on 8 June 2015 at the London School of Economics within the project “Partnership for Youth in UK”. In addition to Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in London, dr Ognjen Pribicevic who opened the forum, the participants included prominent members of Serbian diaspora in the United Kingdom from academic and business communities as well as representatives of the Organization of Serbian Students Abroad (OSSA) who developed with this project.

The project “Partnership for Youth in UK” was supported by the Office for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, whereby its implementation was backed by the British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Pexim Foundation and the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in London.

In his opening remarks, Ambassador Pribicevic emphasized a crucial role of the activities of the Organization of Serbian Students Abroad in facilitating ties between Serbian students abroad and the establishment and maintenance of contacts with corresponding institutions in Serbia. Wishing them a lot of success in their future work, Ambassador Pribicevic pointed out that in their future endeavors the Organization of Serbian Students abroad can count on full support of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in London.

In honor of this occasion, the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in London hosted a reception on 9 June 2015. Ambassador Pribicevic welcomed the President of the British-Serb Chamber of Commerce Sir Paul Judge, prominent members of BSPK and OSSI, as well as representatives of  business communities in London and Serbian students.
