In the articles entitled “Boycie swaps Peckham for the Balkans” and “Boycie hailed as hero in Serbia”, British newspaper Daily Mail and Sunday Mirror reported a positive story about famous British actor John Challis feelings for our country. Noting the popularity of the cult TV series "Only Fools and Horses" in Serbia, dailies emphasized Challis’s sincere words of friendship with Serbian people, which got a strong echo on social medias.
On the invitation of the Ambassador Aleksandra Joksimovic, famous Boycie visited the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in London recently. Challis applied for Serbian citizenship on that occasion. After the documentary “Boycie in Belgrade”, Challis continues to promote Serbia in the United Kingdom in the best possible manner.
