GOVERNMENT FINANCIAL AID FOR OPENING OF NEW SERBIAN LANGUAGE SCHOOLS AND NON-MANDATORY SERBIAN LANGUAGE COURSES

We have the honour to inform that the Goverment of the Republic of Serbia has granted financial aid for opening of new Serbian language schools as well as non-mandatory Serbian language courses for the members of our diaspora. The decision had been brought after the official contest that was open from 22nd July to 6th August 2021.

STRENGTHENING OF TIES BETWEEN THE HOME COUNTRY AND DIASPORA AS WELL AS THE HOME COUNTRY AND SERBS IN THE REGION

Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Selaković made a decision on announcing a competition for co-financing of projects that contribute to the preservation and strengthening of ties between the home country and the diaspora, as well as the home country and Serbs in the region.

BRITISH MEDIA ON BOYCIE’S LOVE FOR SERBIA

In the articles entitled “Boycie swaps Peckham for the Balkans” and “Boycie hailed as hero in Serbia”, British newspaper Daily Mail and Sunday Mirror reported a positive story about famous British actor John Challis feelings for our country. Noting the popularity of the cult TV series "Only Fools and Horses" in Serbia, dailies emphasized Challis’s sincere words of friendship with Serbian people, which got a strong echo on social medias.
