The Governor of the National Bank of the Republic of Serbia, Mrs. Jorgovanka Tabaković, participated at the Conference dedicated to the role of women and the importance of gender equality, on the occasion of the launch of the Global Public Investor Gender Balance Index. The Conference was held on Wednesday, 7 March, in London, organized by the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum.

Governor Tabaković spoke about the challenge that every woman is facing regarding the balance between a successful career and parenting, vertical career advancement and other aspects related to gender equality issues. During the address, Mrs. Tabaković presented data on the number of women at the leading positions in the financial sector in Serbia.
