Prime Minister Ana Brnabic talked today with UK Minister of Exports Graham Stuart about deepening bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation in numerous areas with the UK.
Brnabic pointed out that the relations between the two countries are very good, but that it is necessary to focus efforts on further improvement of economic and trade cooperation.
The Prime Minister added that Serbia is interested in increasing investments from the United Kingdom and cooperation in the realization of strategic projects that are planned.
Speaking about environmental protection and the fight against climate change as one of the priorities of the government of Serbia, she expressed confidence that more intensive cooperation in this area will be established, emphasising that cooperation with partners from the UK can be of great importance in building a green economy and green energy.
Minister Stewart said that good conditions have been achieved for the improvement of political and economic relations, and confirmed that the United Kingdom is interested in strengthening cooperation through the implementation of infrastructure projects.
The interlocutors concluded that in the fight against the pandemic, both Serbia and the UK focus on further mass immunization of the population, as the only way to establish normal life flows as soon as possible.
