President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić spoke by phone with the United Kingdom’s Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Sir Stuart Peach.
Ahead of the new round of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, President Vučić said in a telephone conversation that peace and stability were of the utmost importance and that Serbia would do its best to preserve them, but that it did not depend on just one side.
“Serbia, as always, will be constructive in its efforts to find a compromise solution,” stressed President Vučić.
President Vučić and Special Envoy Sir Peach agreed that Serbia and the United Kingdom had opportunities to cooperate in preserving peace and stability in the Western Balkans, regardless of the different views on the unilaterally declared independence of the so-called Kosovo.
